Coping or hoping? Livelihood diversification and food insecurity in the COVID-19 pandemic
Research from Ethiopia, Malawi, and Nigeria showed that livelihood diversification did not enhance household resilience or decrease food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic, indicating traditional coping strategies may not work for large-scale crises.
