# Mean Field Game of High-Frequency Anticipatory Trading

A study finds that high-frequency traders (HFTs) can lower a large trader's costs if the market temporary impact is relatively large, and that HFTs' repeated behavior makes the large trader's optimal strategy close to uniform trading.
