Delighted to announce my presentation "Blockchain and Distributed Ledgers in Retrospective and Perspective" on the Innovation Stage of QuantMinds in Barcelona on Wednesday, 9 November 2022, 10:20 - 11:00 CET, https://lnkd.in/d6BJw4gf.I'll discuss some of the most recent developments in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, specifically stablecoins, their classification, potential applications, and related topics. I'll also address Decentralized Financial Market Infrastructure (dFMI) and Decentralized Finance (DeFi), including Automated Market Makers (AMM). The corresponding mathematics, economics, and technology behind them and elaborate on the pros and cons of these developments will be explained.
